Business in CAN BE incubator helps clients take advantage of Internet marketing

West Hazleton - As the Internet becomes increasingly important in a company’s plan for success, a business that opened this year in CAN BE’s incubator is working to create strategies to help its clients develop and maintain a thriving online presence.
JumpFrog Marketing, a subsidiary of Infinity Marketing Media, LLC, is an online strategy agency specializing in search engine optimization, media, graphics and Web development.
“We focus on our clients and what their goals are, handling concepts to creation and everything in between,” said Jeff Moisey, JumpFrog’s vice president of strategy and client relations.
Moisey said JumpFrog Marketing, which began turning a profit in only two months, has worked with several other companies in CAN BE’s incubator to help them start marketing their businesses online.
CAN BE is a nonprofit division of CAN DO, Inc. Its incubator program, which operates in the Greater Hazleton Business Innovation Center in Valmont Industrial Park, helps entrepreneurs launch new business and industry right here in the area. CAN BE assists start-up companies by providing low office rental rates, business planning assistance, help with obtaining financing and access to a shared receptionist and conference room.
Including businesses in the incubator, JumpFrog Marketing works with clients that market on local, national and international levels, Moisey said. The process begins with an incubation and growth phase, much like what happens through CAN BE.
“After we determine our clients’ goals, we can help them identify their target audience and market to that audience,” Moisey said.
“We take our clients through several stages of development as we work to market their product or services in the most effective way possible,” he said. That process begins with consulting on outsourced Web site development for clients who don’t yet have a Web presence.
JumpFrog then assist its clients with a variety of marketing campaigns and strategies, including e-mail marketing, social marketing and directory submission.
“After our clients see growth resulting from those marketing strategies, we turn to optimization, incorporating behavioral targeting and other programs to help our clients get the most exposure,” Moisey said.
He said the incubator has been a “perfect solution” for JumpFrog. “Here, we have access to some of the best business minds in the area. We also learn important techniques such as making presentations to venture capitalists. I don’t think you could beat the benefits of this incubator.”
“Jack St. Pierre (CAN BE’s executive director) has been very helpful with the process of finding interns and obtaining grants. He is also helping us make sure we meet the goals of those grants,” Moisey said.
