Mentors

• The establishment of a strong business advisory support system is essential to the program's success. Mentors who can provide business experiences and expertise, on even a limited basis, can make a great deal of difference in the successful development of a new venture. The Hazleton Area has a great deal of experience that can be called on to fill mentoring roles. CAN BE plans to design a mentoring program that will ensure that the entrepreneur and mentor are properly matched and provided with the needed advice. Mentors will provide training and advising of the entrepreneur with an emphasis on one-on-one counseling to help resolve business issues and access new markets and business opportunities that are important to their operations.
